Tobias Mildenberger

I am a quantitative ecologist and PhD candidate at the National Institute of Aquatic Resources, Technical University of Denmark (DTU Aqua).

My PhD contributes to the development and improvement of quantitative methods for the assessment and management of marine resources. In particular, I investigate the predictability of productivity regime shifts, the implementation of the precautionary principle into fisheries management, and the performance evaluation and development of data-limited assessment methods.

My main statistical and research interest is the development and application of state-space models in marine ecology. I am maintainer and principal developer of TropFishR and co-developer of spict.
